Bineka (Bisnis Ekonomi Akuntansi) is committed to ensuring the long-term preservation, security, and accessibility of all published content. As an open-access and peer-reviewed scientific journal, Bineka recognizes that digital preservation is an essential part of scholarly publishing to guarantee that articles, metadata, and supporting journal documents remain accessible over time for authors, readers, researchers, and indexing institutions.
All journal content published in Bineka, including full-text articles, metadata, abstracts, and supporting publication information, is stored and managed through the Open Journal Systems (OJS) platform administered by the publisher. The journal implements routine technical maintenance and periodic backup procedures to reduce the risk of data loss, technical disruption, or accidental deletion of files and records.
The electronic archive of the journal is maintained as part of the publisher’s institutional responsibility for preserving scholarly communication. Backup copies of the journal database and publication files are retained and used as part of the journal’s internal preservation measures, so that published materials can be restored when necessary in the event of server failure, system interruption, or other technical problems affecting access to the journal website.
In addition to preservation through the journal management system, Bineka maintains open bibliographic and publication metadata to support discovery, indexing, and scholarly access. This approach helps ensure that information about published articles remains identifiable and traceable through academic search services, journal directories, and indexing systems, even when temporary access problems occur on the journal’s primary website.
The journal also supports responsible academic dissemination by allowing authors to retain and use the final published version of their work in accordance with the journal’s open-access policy and copyright provisions. Authors are encouraged to store or disseminate their published articles through personal academic profiles, institutional repositories, or other non-commercial academic platforms, provided that complete citation to the original publication in Bineka is clearly stated.
Bineka will continue to improve its digital preservation practices in line with developments in journal governance, OJS standards, national publication requirements, and indexing expectations. If the journal formally adopts additional external preservation services or archiving networks in the future, such information will be announced officially on the journal website as part of its updated archiving and publishing policies.
In the event that the journal ceases publication or experiences a prolonged disruption, the publisher will make reasonable efforts to maintain access to previously published content and preserve the scholarly record already made available by the journal. This commitment is intended to protect the continuity, integrity, and retrievability of the journal’s published academic contributions.
